James was born in New York, about 1831, both his parents were from Scotland

James in 1880's listed his occupation as being a Contractor and Builder

Mary, born about 1843 in Ohio, her parents were born in Mass and Penn

They had the following children

The 1870 United States Federal Census , Illinois, McLean, Bloomington show James and Mary having a male child named Duncan age 5 months old born in the preceding December; question what happened to Duncan in 1880 Census? Was Duncan a sick child, they did have a Nurse living with them named Sophia Seibist?
