William served with Company "D" holding the rank of Corporal, when he was discharged he held the rank of Sergeant; the only information I was able to locate is the below pension file, which he and his wife Annie M filed. William claim as a invalid on July 1876, Annie M filed as a widow on May 6 1879. The pension file does not claim which state it was filed.
