(2) Dated February 16, 1863 from Colliersville Tennessee to his mother Phoebe Graham Kirby in Dewitt County, Illinois.

(3) Dated July 13, 1863 from Collinsville Tennessee to his mother Phoebe Graham Kirby in Dewitt County Illinois.

(4) Dated October 27, 1863 from Camp Clear Creed (Hebron Plantation) in Mississippi to his mother Phoebe Graham Kirby in Dewitt County Illinois.

(5) Dated April 27, 1864 from Fort McPherson Headquarters at Natchez Mississippi to his brother William Graham Kirby in Dewitt County Illinois.
